Some reasons to choose us for your facial esthetic needs:
- Dr. Mariana is certified in the delivery of Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers for Facial Rejuvenation.
- Unlike many other facilities offering Botox and Juvéderm, you will have every step of your procedure, including pre and post-op exams performed by the doctor.
- You should demand a clinician that is intimately familiar with head and neck anatomy and knows the exact location of facial nerves and blood vessels (and where NOT to apply neurotoxins). Who is better quailified to give injections than your dentist? Dr. Mariana has four years of training in head and neck anatomy and routinely anesthetizes the nerves of the face on a daily basis for routine dental work.
- Allergan is the only approved vendor of botox and we only use name brand products from Allergan to ensure your safety.
BOTOX treats the upper one third of the face. It helps to reduce dynamic wrinkles that are caused from muscle movement including: horizontal forehead lines, creases between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet. Botox binds to nerve endings in the immediate area and prevents the muscle from contracting. Even deep wrinkles will smooth out after consecutive BOTOX treatments.
What to expect from BOTOX? A ten minute procedure with minimal discomfort and no anesthetic may cause slight bruising, the best results are seen in 2 weeks and last for 90 days.
Dermal Fillers are soft tissue fillers that treat the lower one third of the face. This procedure shows immediate results and fills in the static wrinkles of the lower face including: nasolabial folds, marionette lines, superficial defects, fine lines around the lips, and can even add volume to the lips which enhances their size.
Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler. The body naturally makes hyaluronic acid; it is a volumizing substance in cells.
For this procedure we offer anesthetic and it takes a little longer than BOTOX depending on the extent of treatment you would like performed. Dr. Mariana will numb the areas to be treated with both an intra-oral and extra-oral approach when necessary to provide you with the most comfortable experience possible.
